Jorgie Porter likes "manly" men.

The 'Hollyoaks' actress - who plays wild child Theresa McQueen in the channel 4 soap - insists her tastes are completely different to that of her on-screen alter ego, who was recently in a relationship with 'emo' rocker Newt (Nico Mirallegro).

She said: "A guy who wears more make-up than me is a no-no. I'd go for someone who's manly and doesn't care about his looks too much.

"Mr. Right would have to have attractive qualities and be funny, but laugh at my jokes too."

As well as having different tastes in men to her character, the 21-year-old actress insists her personality is also nothing like extrovert Theresa.

She added: "I'm nothing like her - I'm geeky and not as cool as she is. I'm not as hard as her either!

"I do wear brighter colours like her but I don't want to be exactly like Theresa. I used to prefer neutral colours and 'granny' stuff."
