Kym Marsh has been dreaming about getting a boob job for the past 10 years.

The 'Coronation Street' star - who plays unlucky in love singer Michelle Connor on the ITV soap - had liposuction and breast enlargement surgery earlier this year because she could "finally" afford it.

The 33-year-old said: "It was something I'd wanted to have done for a long time. I've felt like it since my daughter Emily was two and she's 11 now.

"Back then, I didn't have the money and then, when I did have the money, I had better things to spend it on at the time.

"But I reached a point in my life where I thought, 'If I'm going to do it, then I need to do it now.' So I decided to bite the bullet.

"I didn't want to end up with ridiculously big boobs and I'm really happy with them. They look really natural and I feel much sexier now, but I think that comes from confidence."

Kym will return to 'Coronation Street' next month after a period off to grieve for her son Archie, who died shortly after he was born 18 weeks premature in February.

The actress claims she owes her recovery to partner Jamie Lomas and her children David, 14, and Emily, from a previous relationship.

She added to Britain's New! magazine: "I'm like a robot - I'm programmed to pick myself up and start again. I'm quite a positive person and I try not to dwell on the bad things."
