Kym Marsh and Jamie Lomas have split up.

The 'Coronation Street' actress and the former 'Hollyoaks' star have decided to end their relationship after 15 months together.

A statement issued by the couple said: "Jamie has moved out of Kym's house in Cheshire. There is no-one else involved and neither party wish to comment at this time."

In November last year it was reported the couple were engaged, a rumour fuelled by Kym saying she was thinking about marriage. Soon after, she confirmed she was pregnant.

Kym and Jamie then suffered the tragic loss of their baby son, Archie, shortly after his premature birth this February.

The couple were left distraught by the loss, and although she returned to work, Kym was said to be struggling to cope.

In May rumours circulated that Jamie was to move to the US and look for acting work after finishing in 'Hollyoaks'.

Kym denied any move for the couple, saying: "I have a new 12-month contract and could not even begin to think of leaving. It's daft because I have two kids in school. Why would I want to uproot them?"

Kym was previously married to former 'EasEnders' actor Jack Ryder for six years, and has two children, David, and Emily from a previous relationship.
