Leslie Ash claims there are no divas at 'Holby City'.

The actress - who plays new hospital executive Vanessa Lytton in the BBC medical drama - says she's been welcomed by all her co-stars, with Patsy Kensit Healy and Tina Hobley being particularly supportive.

Leslie - who walks with the aid of a stick due to contracting a strain of harmful bacteria called MSSA during a stay in hospital - said: "The whole cast has been fantastic. They have made me feel so welcome, and I don't feel any different to before at all.

When Patsy and Tina heard I'd be coming into the show, they both texted me straight away. I'm loving every minute of being here. There are no divas.

The former 'Men Behaving Badly' star admits she is nervous about starring in the show because she's worried whether viewers will take to her alter-ego.

She told Inside Soap magazine: "The show has a great following. A lot of my friends love it and tell me they watch it all the time. That's quite amazing, so I hope that they like me, too."
