'Emmerdale' bigamist Mark Wylde will be pressured to reveal he is the father of Ryan Lamb.
Mark is set to heroically save his secret son's life after he is involved in an accident, but the heroic actions only lead to more demands from his original wife Faye Lamb to reveal his true identity to her son.
Maxwell Caulfield, who plays Mark - who fathered Ryan with Faye Lamb before disappearing, creating a new identity and marrying present wife Natasha - said this only leads him to further feeling of denial about his former life.
Cain apparently gets to have every good looking woman in the village, so it's no surprise he's already sniffing around Faye! But that damned Dingle getting any more secret information than he already has could spell a disaster for Mark.
Maxwell said: "Mark's relieved Ryan's OK, it means there will be no negligence lawsuit! And maybe Natasha never needs to know about it.
"But When Faye suggests that Marks should tell Ryan about being his father, he's incensed. He's just saved the boy's life, and she' putting more pressure on him. I think, deep down, he's still in denial about it."
Although he's not so keen on the truth coming out, he may be forced to act soon, as his arch enemy Cain is set to make a move on Faye.
Maxwell added: "Cain apparently gets to have every good looking woman in the village, so it's no surprise he's already sniffing around Faye! But that damned Dingle getting any more secret information than he already has could spell a disaster for Mark."
