The Walford taxi driver (Jake Wood) confronts the market trader - who he dated and his late son Bradley Branning was married to - in a bid to force her to confess to Archie Mitchell's murder and clear his dead boy's name.

Stacey (Lacey Turner) told Max she was responsible for Archie's death during the recent live 25th anniversary show after Bradley plunged to his death while trying to escape police attempting to arrest him on suspicion of the murder.

In shocking scenes, Max grabs hold of Stacey - who is pregnant - and drags her into a stolen car before driving off with her.

This is going to be dynamite viewing. The episode will focus exclusively on Max and Stacey.

Viewers will see the gripping two-hander episode - which means only Max and Stacey will feature for the entire duration of the show - on BBC One on Friday March 26 at 8pm.

Last month, actor Jake revealed he and Lacey would be the focus of their own episode during an appearance on 'This Morning'.

'This Morning' presenter Philip Schofield tweeted: "Max told us exclusively that he and Stacey will soon do a 'two-hander' episode."
