Michelle Connor To Ruin Rosie's Love Life

Kym Marsh says her 'Coronation Street' character has her sights set on romance with Luke Strong.

The actress, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, revealed the wannabe singer wants to rekindle her romance with the factory boss - and is planning to ruin his fling with Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan).

Before she went away she was looking for a relationship but distance from Steve has made her shift priorities

Kym said: "Michelle flirts with Luke and lets him know she is still interested. As far as Michelle is concerned Rosie is just a kids and she knows Luke isn't really interested in her.

"But Rosie is very attractive so Michelle does see it as a bit of challenge to prove she can beat her at her own game."

Kym, 33, insists Michelle is only interested in having fun with Luke (Craig Kelly), and has no intention of settling down after her failed relationship with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).

Kym explained: "Before she went away she was looking for a relationship but distance from Steve has made her shift priorities. She has decided she wants to live a little. She has had a pretty tough couple of years losing both her brothers.

"Now she needs to enjoy herself."
