Natalie Cassidy has blasted claims she signed up for 'Strictly Come Dancing' to lose weight.
The former 'EastEnders' actress - whose weight has yo-yoed in the past 18 months - is "sick and tired" of people saying she only agreed to compete on the BBC celebrity dance-off to regain her super-svelte figure.
The 26-year-old star said: "I'm feeling brilliant. When you're training every day, you can't not feel good. But as I've always said since I started this, I haven't done it to lose weight.
I want to dance every day, go home, have my dinner and have my glass of wine. I'm here to dance and just enjoy every day.
"The whole weight issue with me has been ongoing for the last 18 months and I really am sick and tired of it. I will not get on the scales.
"I want to dance every day, go home, have my dinner and have my glass of wine. I'm here to dance and just enjoy every day."
Though Natalie insists she is not bothered about her body, she admits she is thrilled to be able to eat whatever she wants without feeling guilty.
She explained to Britain's New! magazine: "I'm not on a diet at all. All you see is the dancers eating croissants all day long! You're doing so much exercise, it isn't about what you're eating - it's about keeping up your energy levels."
