Former 'Casualty' star Rebekah Gibbs never thought she'd live to see her wedding day.
The actress - who battled breast cancer last year - said 18 months before her wedding to Ashley Pitman, she couldn't imagine her future at all.
She said: "I'd never have thought it possible. My future was so bleak I didn't even know if I'd be alive, let alone getting married.
"I had begun Chemotherapy in May 2008 and by the second stage of chemo, I felt at my lowest."

Rebekah said she set goals for herself around her home life with baby daughter, Gigi, now 20 months, and eventually planned her marriage to Ashley in order to keep her focussed.
Rebekah added: "I had no life in me apart from literally doing baby stuff. I remember thinking 'I've got to have something to look forward to, to give me a goal.
"Really it was just getting to Gigi's first birthday on 30 January. My next goal was her christening in February and finally our wedding."
Rebekah has since beaten cancer and written a book about her experiences, called 'Because Of You', adding she is relieved she can now look back over her wedding photos and laugh.
She added: "I laugh now at the meringue of a dress I went for. But you know what, after the last year I thought, 'What the heck, I'm going for it! I married the man of my dreams in a dream dress."
