Roxanne Pallett Urged To Strip

Roxanne Pallett's mother is desperate for her to strip off to revive her TV career.

The former 'Emmerdale' actress has revealed she would have no problem flashing her flesh if a part required it, and even has the backing of her family.

She said: "I do love stripping down to my smalls. My mum has always said to me, 'Whip it off, girl. If you've got it, you should flaunt it.' "

Roxanne left the ITV soap, in which she played Jo Sugden, in 2008.

She went on to appear in talent show 'Dancing On Ice' and has been in touring plays 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'Much Ado About Nothing'.

Roxanne, 26, is also due to appear in pantomime at the end of the year.

She recently refused to rule out returning to the soap, but said she was keen to win other acting roles before reprising Jo.

She explained: "I'm enjoying having the freedom to make decisions about other work. 'Emmerdale' was my very first role and I'm 27 at Christmas, so I feel I need to earn my stripes as an actress. I need to explore other roles."
