Tina O'Brien took a year to lose her baby weight.
The 'Coronation Street' actress - who played Sarah-Louise Platt in the soap - put on 42lbs during her pregnancy and admits she struggled to shift the pounds after giving birth to daughter Scarlett.
She said: "It serves me right because I thought, 'I'm naturally slim - it will just drop off!' But it really didn't!"
If Scarlett hadn't come along, maybe marriage would have been on the cards, but it's definitely not on the agenda now! Weddings are lovely, but they take time to organise.
She started working with a personal trainer last spring but has only just got her size eight figure back.
She told Closer magazine: "When I first had Scarlet I did absolutely nothing. I didn't want to be running round the block with a week-old baby!"
The 26-year-old new mum said she was shocked to be asked to take part in 'Dancing On Ice' only three days after giving birth.
She said: "Can you imagine? I can't think of anything worse."
Tina, who has been with her boyfriend and former 'Coronation Street' co-star Ryan Thomas, 25, for five years, also says they had no plans to marry.
She said: "If Scarlett hadn't come along, maybe marriage would have been on the cards, but it's definitely not on the agenda now! Weddings are lovely, but they take time to organise."
