Vinnie Jones gave in to the Tree of Temptation this afternoon

The ex-footballer hardman initially refused to do the Tree's bidding, after it whispered to him in the garden and issued him a 'challenge of the heart'.

The Tree told him he had to tell the housemates over lunch how much he had bonded with them all - before taking cross dressing cage fighter Alex Reid outside and making a confession he had also secretly dressed in women's clothes in the past, and had loved it.

Vinnie repeated "I'm not doing it," point blank in a refusal of the Tree's challenge.

However, after taking some time out in the bedroom, he returned and agreed to the tackle the task -but only after the tree had threatened to seek its wrath on the rest of the house.

Vinnie later told Alex: "You know that whole cross-dressing business? Well two years ago I did it.

"I don't see anything wrong with it - it was actually quite a laugh."

Vinnie went on to complete the challenge, and over lunch told his housemates he had found the house experience "surreal and strange" as he wasn't used to getting so close to people.
