Wendy Richard has been honoured by a blue plaque outside her childhood home.
Friends and former co-stars of the 'EastEnders' actress - who lost her battle with cancer in February - gathered at the Shepherd's Tavern pub in London's Mayfair, which was run by her parents, to see the blue heritage placard unveiled by 'Are You Being Served?' creator David Croft.
Paying tribute, Todd Carty - who played Wendy's on-screen son Mark Fowler in 'EastEnders' - said: "She meant the world to me."
Particularly in America she had a tremendous impact
Former Bee Gees star Robin Gibb, president of the heritage foundation, said: "Wendy was a great British actress.
"Particularly in America she had a tremendous impact. 'Are You Being Served?' in particular was on every single night on TV. For 40 years, every night."
Other stars joining the actress' widower John Burns at the unveiling included former 'EastEnders' stars Natalie Cassidy, Emma Barton, Letitia Dean and Leslie Grantham, Wendy's co-star in 'Are You Being Served?' - the show which made her famous - Frank Thornton, 'Dad's Army' writer David Croft and TV presenter Les Dennis.
