Zoe Lister's Gok Disappointment

'Hollyoaks' actress Zoe Lister has made it her mission to meet Gok Wan.

The 27-year-old actress, who plays Zoe Carpenter on the Channel 4 soap, appeared in an episode of the stylist's 'Fashion Fix' show with fellow 'Hollyoaks' actress and wheelchair user Kelly-Marie Stewart, but was disappointed not to see the flamboyant TV star up close.

She said: "They were doing this special with Kelly-Marie on disability and shopping. I did some little bits and pieces on my views on her dress sense and it was really good, but there was no sign of Gok and that was a big disappointment."

Zoe, a huge fan of Gok, was nominated in the Sexiest Female category at the British Soap Awards in 2008 and 2009 and - unlike her tomboy character Zoe - takes a keen interest in fashion.

She added: "I was like, 'Where is he?' and I don't know if Kelly did meet him. I like the show because whether you listen to it or not, it's always good to have a professional opinion on how you dress or what you look like."

In June, Zoe announced that she would leave 'Hollyoaks' at the end of the year after deciding three years in the show was "enough".
