In the first part of tonight's double bill, Kylie reacts angrily to Callum, telling him she wants to be left alone and she's quit drugs after he continues to phone her. Amy's jealous when Simon is given an expensive keyring for the school auction by Carla, and when Kal sacks Gary from the building job at the gym he's left shocked. Alya's urged by Yasmeen to take her relationship slowly rather than rebel against her father, and Liz is thrilled to see her old friend Erica - played by Claire King - turn up at the Rovers. Helping out at the salon, Luke is hoping for an invite to the staff Christmas party, and Sean's nervous as he prepares to introduce Billy to the Grimshaws over tea.
Later, Zeedan tells Gary that Owen has taken over the job at the gym leaving him furious, and Alya does her best to calm him down. Tracy continues with her charm offensive on Carla, but when she's reminded by Leanne that there's overdue rent on the shop she snaps. Gail catches Erica impatiently helping herself to a drink in The Bistro and leaving the money on the bar, and so demands that Nick throw her out. Meanwhile, Billy enjoys the company of the Grimshaws despite Todd's snide comments.

Tyrone buys the best corner shop's Christmas tree right from under David's nose leaving him furious, and the two get into a scrap in the middle of the street. An emotional Alya tells her family that she will be ending her relationship with Gary as it's causing too much heartache, and Tony offers Tracy a deal to clear her rent arrears - he wants 50% of her business. Flirting with Nick in the Bistro, Erica makes her move, whilst Michael's told by Gavin that he hasn't yet visited the doctor.
Friday, December 19, 2014 (7.30pm, ITV)
Tracy waits for news of Rob's sentencing leaving her on edge, whilst Peter's persuaded by Leanne to extend the deadline on the rent for the second-hand goods shop. Kevin and Tyrone are bewildered to see Steve agree to pay extortionate prices for parts for his kit car's refurbishment, and Gavin's recruited by Steph to help at the Bistro when Nick spends the day away from work and instead with Erica.
