This summer and autumn on Coronation Street, there seems to be a running theme of heartbreak as ITV tease exactly what Weatherfield's residents should expect in the weeks to come.

Steve McDonald, having discovered that he is the father of Leanne's baby following a one night stand is left stunned when his wife, Michelle, also announces that she is expecting. With the two women bonding over their bumps, will Steve be able to keep his illegitimate child covered up?
Meanwhile, Aidan and Eva are riding a wave of success at the factory, but with Eva keen to take things to the next level, Aidan and Maria hook up in yet another ill-judged one night stand. When Maria is facing trouble and her relationship with Caz gets sinister, Aidan and Eva are the ones helping her pick up the pieces - will Eva discover her friend had something with her fella?
Then there's David, who's at a loss following the murder of his wife Kylie. Still unable to come to terms with her stabbing and death, David is heartbroken and seeking revenge. Left unhinged by the drama that unfolded, he vows to make Kylie's killer Clayton pay - but exactly how far he will go is anybody's guess...
