EastEnders - Chelsea sets Denise straight

Denise confiscates Squiggle's phone to stop her contacting Owen. She explains how Owen changes and becomes violent when he drinks. Squiggle won't believe her.Dawn gushes to Carly about fancying Rob. Ian pays her to stay away from the Vic that night. He doesn't want her to be seen by his WCCT mates.Owen arrives at the Foxes' with flowers. Denise won't let him in and asserts that it's over. Owen's shocked when she orders him to stay away. She shuts the door on him and he leaves distraught. Squiggle's upset by Denise shunning Owen. She wants her parents to be together and hurls abuse at her mum. Meanwhile, Carly meets Jake to discuss holding Martin's 21st at Scarlet.Owen necks vodka in Scarlet. He takes offence when Jake and Carly advice him to stop. He lashes out at Jake and Carly tries to pull him away. Fists fly and he knocks the pair over before scarpering.On the floor, an intense sexual chemistry builds between Carly and Jake. They start kissing passionately and are soon ripping off each other's clothes.Martin and Pauline discuss Carly's motives for throwing him a birthday party. Martin thinks that she's trying to get back with him and is chuffed that she's making an effort.Denise frets when she discovers that Squiggle's missing. Meanwhile, Squiggle finds refuge at Darren's and uses his phone to contact her dad. She arranges to meet him.

Rob entices Dawn to join him for champagne on her way up West. She accepts with glee. Later, Rob reveals that he really likes her. Delighted, she admits that she feels the same. Ian appears and she legs it to avoid him.

Deano and Kevin join the hunt for Squiggle. Deano's pleased to help Chelsea. He feared that she was blanking him. Denise admits to Kevin that she needs him.

Denise panics that Squiggle's with Owen. She confesses to Kevin that she's fallen out with him. Kevin spots Darren and twigs he has info. He makes Darren divulge Squiggle's whereabouts.

Squiggle asks if Owen's been drinking, but he claims not. He suggests going to Spain to join his mum. Squiggle just wants him to be with Denise. He shouts that she must choose between them. She runs off, startled by his anger.

Dot demands that Jim tells her the truth about Max's childhood. She's shocked when he admits to being a bitter, mean drunk. Dot urges him to seek forgiveness for the past. Jim sees his young self in Max and hates it.

Jane pops into the Vic when Ian's there with WCCT men. He ushers her out. Ian's pleased to become an official trust member. His face falls when Victor mentions Ian's wife joining them at the annual conference.

Kevin finds Squiggle in the park. She's angry with her mum and blames her for hurting Owen. Kevin gently persuades her to go home and talk things over with Denise.

A drunken Owen pushes his way into the Foxes' looking for Squiggle. He threatens Denise. Chelsea's petrified of what he might do. Squiggle's horrified to walk in as her enraged dad hits her mum.

Owen's desperate to make amends with Squiggle. Pauline catches Carly in a compromising position.
