Rushing back to the home he puts his life on the line to save her despite Roxy's protests, and he's not the only resident of the Square to endanger themselves whilst trying to help the community.

As the fire takes hold of the house and a major explosion takes place, nothing looks good and the conditions of those inside could be extremely life-changing.

Elsewhere, Mick is catching up with Sharon who looks worse for wear, giving her some words of encouragement in a bid to ensure she goes through with the marriage.

Lauren's behaviour is questioned by Nancy who notices tension between her and Peter, but when Tamwar's reaction to the fire isn't something she expected, her concern grows for her friend.

EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
