Bec Cartwright quits Home And Away at the end of June.The 21-year-old fiancee of tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt is expecting a baby in October, and Seven Network are launching a nationwide search for a replacement. While Cartright will leave at the end of next month, it has been decided her Summer Bay character, Hayley Lawson, will continue necessitating a new actor. Ms Cartwright has been quoted as saying that the decision to leave the show was not an easy one.Going on to say that she'd had such a great time and learnt so much, but at such an important time of her life she needed more time and flexibility away from the day-to-day demands of the production schedule. Ms Cartwright who has been in the soap for six-and-a-half years also said that her timein Home And Away had been amazing, and would be hard to leave all her friends at Home and Away.Seven were said to be starting the scheduling the change and its associated storylines immediately as not only did they need to find a replacement but there was also the issue of the character changing its physical look.
