Carl King's Kids Shock

'Emmerdale's Carl King receives a massive shock when he is forced to look after his children.

The businessman - played by Tom Lister - is forced to dramatically alter his life when ex-wife Colleen drops their two kids in his care, sparking problems with his career and relationship with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

A source said: "Carl's ex is driven to leave their kids on his doorstep.

"After being out of their lives for so long, he's now looking after daughter Anya and son Thomas when Colleen's husband has a bad accident in Saudi Arabia and she has to go over there to be at his side."

Despite his attempts to welcome the children into his life, Carl's careless parenting reportedly leaves at least one of the kids in "great peril".

The arrival of his family also causes chaos with his plans for revenge against resident bad boy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
