Denise Van Outen led a charity run for pregnant women yesterday (18.02.10).

The TV star - who is six months pregnant with her first child with husband Lee Mead - recruited some of her pregnant famous friends to take part in the Bumps and Babies Mile in Battersea Park, London to help raise money for Sport Relief.

It will prove that anyone and everyone can join in the fun and rise to the challenge by getting sponsored to do the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile. Sign up now at www.sportrelief.com!

Denise was joined in the run by Five News presenter Natasha Kaplinsky, Radio 6 DJ Nemon and her seven-month-old daughter Ella, Carly Zucker, former 'EastEnders' actress Kim Medcalf and Olympic badminton player Gail Emms.

Denise said: "It's brilliant that these five lovely ladies have agreed to undertake the Bumps and Babies Mile, with all five bumps and one baby in tow. A group of heavily pregnant women and power-pramming mums waddling around Battersea Park will probably be quite amusing."

Although they thoroughly enjoying themselves, the 35-year-old star hopes the run will make the point that everyone can help raise money for charity - pregnant or otherwise.

She explained: "It will prove that anyone and everyone can join in the fun and rise to the challenge by getting sponsored to do the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile. Sign up now at www.sportrelief.com!"

Natasha - who is currently expecting her second child with husband Justin Bower - is thrilled she took part in the challenge.

She said: "The Bumps and Babies Mile is a great idea and I am really going to enjoy catching up with the other mums as well as doing our bit for Sport Relief. A huge thank you to Denise for proving that new mums and pregnant ladies can rise to the challenge in our own way!"
