Catherine Tyldesley admits it feels "weird" on the Corrie set without Michelle Keegan.

The blonde beauty - who plays Eva Price in the soap - is good friends with Michelle and has been missing her since her character Tina McIntyre was killed off.

However, one thing Catherine doesn't miss about her co-star is the mess she used to make in their shared dressing room.

She told OK! magazine: "Michelle and I shared a dressing room so it was weird seeing her go. I confide in Michelle a lot. She's a great listener so I really miss her. But I have to say it's tidier!"

Catherine also misses actresses Michelle Collins and Sue Johnston - who portrayed her on-screen mother Stella Price and grandmother Gloria Price respectively - who have both now departed from Weatherfield.

The 30-year-old actress admits the trio became very close playing their 'Corrie' family, saying: "Michelle Collins and I came in as a family and it's the same with Sue Johnston - they became a surrogate mother and grandmother. You spend more time with them than you do your own family sometimes."

Catherine loves playing feisty but insists she's nothing like her outspoken alter ego in real life.

She said: "Eva wears the trousers. She enjoys confrontation whereas I hate it and I back away from any argument ... I think playing her has made me more confident. I feel liberated, the way she doesn't give two hoots."
