The 37-year-old actor, who plays Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap, has revealed his eight-year-old daughter Sunnie likes to take on the role of his husky-voiced mother when she helps him to learn his lines.

Danny shared: "I think Sunnie would be a brilliant actress. She runs through my lines with me sometimes."

However, the 'Football Factory' star has no plans to pressure Sunnie into following him and his older daughter Dani into acting.

He continued: "At this point, though, who knows because they change so much between eight and 12 years old. She's still into her Barbies but she's got a very good imagination."

Danny has had a tumultuous relationship in the past with the mother of his two daughters and 19-month-old son Arty, Joanne Mas, and admits that although having their eldest, Dani, when they were just 18 and 19-years-old respectively saw them break up for a short time, he thinks she also kept them together.

He explained to OK! magazine: "She was a big part of it. There's no greater bond between two people than when you have a child together. Dani was a major part of pulling me back because we were a little threesome, and of course me and Jo adore each other."
