The 37-year-old actor - who this week returned to 'EastEnders' after a 12-year hiatus - risks wrecking his bid to make a full-time return to the soap because of his sex obsession, which extends to referring to his member by the name of his famous on-screen dog, according to his brother Gary.

He shared: "Obviously people go, 'How's Wellard?' And he'll look down at his manhood and go, 'Yeah, he's alright!'

"When you're 37 it's not that funny any more."

Gary worries his brother - who's signed up to play Robbie Jackson for seven episodes on the show - will allow his love of women to get in the way of his career ambitions, having recently said he's keen to return to Albert Square on a permanent basis.

Gary told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I think he'll go off the rails again. If you work for the BBC you have to represent the company. You are not bigger than the show itself.

"He's a player and a pick-up artist. That won't go down well with the show because he won't be able to keep it in his trousers.

"It will all be taken away from him and it will because of the sex thing.

"He has easily slept with more than 1,000 women, at least as many as Mick Hucknall."
