The 32-year-old actress who plays Sarah-Louise Platt on the ITV soap will feature heavily in tonight's hour-long show and despite intense rehearsals ahead of it, the potential to make a mistake live on air in front of millions of viewers is playing on her mind.

Tina shared: "Everyone has warned me my heart will be really pumping. We've been rehearsing for two weeks but things could go terribly wrong.

"The last live episode was flawless and I don't think people realised it was live.

"I know they will have loved that but I know they will be watching in the hope something isn't going right.

And the actress - who first appeared in Weatherfield in 1999 - is praying she won't be the one to trip up.

She told The Sun newspaper: "As long as it's not me falling on my face, which would be very embarrassing, then I think we will be fine."

Tina recently returned from an eight-year break from the street during which time she had two children, Scarlett, seven, with ex-boyfriend and 'Corontation Street' co-star Ryan Thomas, and Beau, 11 months, with new partner Adam Crofts.

But the actress feels "lucky" because she gets on with Ryan, who plays Jason Grimshaw.

She says: "Ryan and I get on well. The other weekend I was away and Ryan and Adam got together with Scarlett and Adam's cousins. We are very lucky."

Meanwhile, TV bosses are preparing themselves for wet weather during the live episode.

An insider said: "Bosses have been pinning hopes on good weather but this is Salford in September."

'Coronation Street' goes live tonight (23.09.15) at 7.30pm.
