Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor may now be in direct competition for ratings over the weekend, but for the contestants taking part on the two shows, it's all about how long they'll be able to remain safe in the competition. So, just who will be performing their final competitive dance this weekend, and which X Factor live finals finalist will be first to be sent home?

If William Hill is to be believed, one of three ladies will be sent packing from Strictly. Rumours are rife that Jamelia and her professional dance partner Tristan MacManus aren't getting on, and as a result she's the well backed 9/4 second favourite to go home, behind only Kirsty Gallacher at 7/4. Carol Kirkwood rounds out the top three in danger, with odds of 5/2 to be eliminated.

Jay McGuinness and Peter Andre are still top of the pile, both with 100/1 odds to be sent home this weekend.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: "There are four contestants that are off the pace, so with public favourites Carol and Jeremy seemingly safe it looks like either Kirsty or Jamelia will get the red card this weekend."

Meanwhile, with ITV's The X Factor it looks like Simon Cowell may have made the wrong decision in taking Bupsi through to the live shows, as she's a 13/8 favourite to be sent home. Reggie 'n' Bollie are just behind at 3/1, with Max Stone at 5/1 to get the boot.

Louisa Johnson is favourite to win the show and that's echoed here, with her 100/1 odds to be kicked from the competition.

Strictly Come Dancing airs at 6.35pm tonight (October 31) on BBC One, with The X Factor kicking off from 8pm on ITV. The results follow tomorrow (November 1) at 7.15pm and 8pm on their respective channels.
