New research from online marketplace eBay UK has revealed that whilst 16% of 2,000 adults cite Friends as the most influential television show homes for interior style, it's actually Brookside cul-de-sac's (21%) that our homes most resemble.
Sex and the City (9%), Downton Abbey (9%), Gogglebox (7%) and Game of Thrones (6%) are all inspirational when it comes to decorating our houses, but when it's down to the nitty gritty of what homes are actually looking like, it's a different story altogether.
With Brookside at top, Emmerdale cottages (12%), Coronation Street terraces (9%) and EastEnders townhouses (8%) are what we all think our houses most resemble. Downton Abbey (4%) rounds off the top five.
