You may not recognise her name, but her face has a definite spark of familiarity about it because the gorgeous Justine Balmer, has been a guest presenter for QVC and Ideal World shopping TV channels for the past 11 years.

From costume jewellery to those much needed hand-held vacuums, Justine has been that glamorous TV personal shopper that we’ve all spent many a joyful viewing-hour with. She’s no stranger to the stage either, hosting her own classical performance on ocean cruise liners worldwide, Justine Balmer, has commanded standing ovations on almost every cruise liner, including the illustrious QE2.

Now this stunning queen of the waves and shopping TV, bows to intense public demand to bring her favourite stage songs into one package, in the form of her debut album, Simple Thing.

A culmination of 5-years of production, reveal a perfectly balanced, hand-picked collection of classical, pop and rock songs, which resonate with experiences and emotions from Justine’s life.

To celebrate, our TV shopping channel celebrity shares her top five simple things exclusively with Female First:

TV Sunrises: I am really not a morning person, but there are times when I have to get up ridiculously early to go into the studios where we film. Some of them are a long way from where I live, so a 3am get up is tough! But... the beauty of a sunrise and the stillness of a frosty morning always takes my breath away and makes those early TV mornings with it.

Off-Air Laughter: The camaraderie and the laughs that we have in the guest presenter lounge and on-air. Laughter really is the best medicine and we have a lot fun on-air when things go wrong - which can happen at any point with live TV!

Friends: Family and friends are my biggest blessing - especially friends who become family!

The Beach: The beach is my happy place. There is nothing like the feeling of sand between your toes to make you relax and appreciate nature and allow your thoughts to still.

Music: Where do I start? Music is the tapestry of our lives. It can move people to their core and bring up emotions we didn’t know we had. The stunning beauty of a melody, combined with lyrics that resonate, enhanced by the simplicity and strength of the human voice - that is one of the seven wonders of the world in my opinion.

Debut album, Simple Thing is released on Right Track Records / Universal on June 7, 2019.
