Last night (September 5) the annual TV Choice Awards took place at London's Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, and all of the results have now been revealed following the ceremony.

Danny Miller won big for his role in Emmerdale as Aaron, taking home the accolade for Best Soap Actor, whilst Lacey Turner's take on Stacey Slater in EastEnders earned her the Best Soap Actress gong.

Emmerdale continued its success by taking Best Soap and Coronation Street found an award through Shayne Ward, who took home the Best Soap Newcomer prize for his character in Corrie, Aidan.

Other big shows that won were Doctor Foster for Best New Drama, Downton Abbey for Best Drama Series and Call The Midwife for Best Family Drama.
