Ryan Murphy is back with a brand new horror comedy series in Scream Queens and an all-star cast list that's sure to have audiences grinning from ear to ear.

The incomparable Jamie Lee Curtis joins Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Billie Lourd, Diego Boneto, Lucien Laviscount, Glen Powell and guest stars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas.

The series will premiere on FOX - which has a whole host of other series such as Rosewood and The Grinder coming later this year - and it seems as if the network are hoping to truly diversify their roster.

As a new anthology series, Scream Queens will follow a stereotypical sorority house on a college campus, with a dark past that returns to haunt the current sisters making residence there.

Not as dark as Murphy's work on American Horror Story, the new full trailer looks to be a satire of some of his previous work with a tone reminiscent of the Scream franchise.

"Wallace University is rocked by a string of murders. Kappa House, the most sought-after sorority for pledges, is ruled with an iron fist (in a pink glove) by its Queen Bitch, Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts). But when anti-Kappa Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) decrees that sorority pledging must be open to all students, and not just the school's silver-spooned elite, all hell is about to break loose, as a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc, claiming one victim, one episode at a time. Part black comedy, part slasher flick, 'Scream Queens' is a modern take on the classic whodunit, in which every character has a motive for murder... Or could easily be the next blood-soaked casualty."

With the official synopsis and trailer offering just a glimpse of what's to come, we can't wait to see the tones and worlds of Glee and AHS come together in what could be either a huge success or a major flop - we're hoping for the former.

Scream Queens is set to premiere on FOX later this year.
