Game of Thrones season five is just over a month away, landing in mid-April to Sky Atlantic and HBO in the UK and USA respectively, and yesterday saw the reveal of a brand new trailer from iTunes TV via their social media accounts.

As part of the launch of HBO Now at Apple's Spring Forward event yesterday, the extended look was premiered worldwide and gives a glimpse into the final steps being taken by Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in 'breaking the wheel', formed by the 'spokes' which are made up of the members of any houses who oppose her.

Also seen are Jon Snow (Kit Harington) who's trying to bring his men together with the Wildlings to go up against the undead White Walkers, and new cast member Jonathan Pryce who's seen briefly as the High Sparrow - King's Landing's religious leader.

The show's world premiere will this year be held in the UK at the Tower of London on March 18, with cast-members from the show expected to attend.

Game of Thrones season five premieres in the US on HBO on April 12, coming a day later to the UK on Sky Atlantic HD.
