The Golden Truth defeat Breezango

An odd match born from an odd rivalry with a lot of odd personalities. Nobody's quite sure what WWE is trying to achieve here.

The Lucha Dragons defeat The Dudley Boyz

Quite a solid match when it's not really based on much history, with the Dudley Boyz of course doing everything in their power to make it something special. D-Von and Bubba Ray had a little animosity which could be teasing a team split and singles competition for the pair.

The New Day defeat The Vaudevillains, The Club and Enzo & Cass to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships

Kicking off the main show, all teams here did a brilliant job of retaining their individual charm and personalities. The Club were dominant whilst Enzo and Cass delivered some high-flying power moves. In the end though it was Big E who allowed his team to retain, deadlifting Anderson into the Big Ending and picking up the three count.

Baron Corbin defeats Dolph Ziggler

The crowd were cruel here, chanting 'Boring!' at a pair of competitors who have actually put in the work and the time they've been given to establish their rivalry. Corbin continues to be a dominant force since his main roster debut and deserves a better reaction from the fans. Hitting Ziggler outside the ring with Deep Six, he got the pinfall victory.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke defeat Natalya and Becky Lynch

The women are back to being given the tiniest amount of time to try and pull off something to keep the fanbase engaged. We're at a point where the fans WANT to see more from the females in the company, so exactly what WWE are doing to this division is beyond any comprehension. Still, there was an interesting development in this match, with Natalya's heel turn following her loss. Beating Lynch with forearms after everything was over, there's an interesting rivalry to go on moving forward. Hopefully creative will allow it time to breathe.

Apollo Crews defeats Sheamus

Uninspired and a little boring, this storyline is going nowhere and should now be over. Crews isn't established at all as a character but has proven his ability in-ring time and time again. There's no doubt he and Sheamus gave an incredible match, but the pair need better material to work with.

AJ Styles defeats John Cena

This was one of, if not the match the majority of the viewing audience were most looking forward to, with a stellar display of action put on for every in attendance and all those watching at home. Though a clean victory would have gone over better with everybody watching, there's little denying that this was one of the best matches we've seen in recent history between two incredible stars.

Dean Ambrose defeats Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio

A gorgeous display of prowess by all men was this year's Money in the Bank match. We had the usual brawling atop ladders, big moves and daring stunts, but it was Ambrose who would walk out victorious, briefcase in hand and big plans in his head...

Rusev defeats Titus O'Neil to retain the WWE United States Championship

A huge clash of giants took over the ring and saw some great back-and-forth, before Rusev took home the win via submission. His heckling of O'Neil's children is exactly how superstars like Rusev should be - great work from a fantastic heel.

Seth Rollins defeats Roman Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion

This match had all the makings of one of the greatest in recent memory and managed to deliver on many different levels. Rollins serving a Pedigree to Reigns who was attempting a Spear for example was a slick move of genius. In the end it would be Rollins who got the three count and regained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - the title he never lost.

But, as if that wasn't a big enough shock for the night...

Dean Ambrose cashes in his MITB briefcase and defeats Seth Rollins to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Dean rushed out to the ring, smashing Rollins in the head with his new briefcase before cashing it in. Though Rollins looked like he was going to put up somewhat of a fight, Ambrose found it in him to immediately serve Dirty Deeds and pick up the victory, becoming the new champion.
