When I was diagnosed with IBS, as a vegan, I found it really hard to find bread that was both vegan AND gluten free. That was until I discovered BFree!

BFree Brown Seeded Loaf

BFree Brown Seeded Loaf

The Brown Seeded Loaf is admittedly a little expensive than other brands, ranging from around £2.50-£3.50 per loaf, however when you want something as niche as this- I know I am willing to pay a bit extra for it.

The pieces of bread are quite long so you have to swap them over to make sure you allow time for both ends in the toaster to heat up.

At only 68 calories a slice they are pretty in keeping with the same calories as other wheat bread varieties.

The sunflower seeds and linseeds give each bite a lovely crunch, against the soft middle, especially if you smother it in vegan butter!

Of all the gluten free breads I have tasted- I could barely tell the difference. The slices are a generous size, they hold together so great for spreading on vegan butter or jam and they kept me full right through until lunchtime.

Overall- a great find and so glad that one company has made the effort to cater for both vegans and gluten intolerants, as well as IBS sufferers.
