Squidgy Chocolate and Cherry Brownies

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 35-40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 110g Flora Freedom
  • 50g dairy free dark chocolate
  • Egg replacer (equivalent of 2 eggs)
  • 225g golden granulated sugar
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking flour
  • 25g glace cherries, washed, dried and quartered
  • 25g walnuts, roughly chopped, optional

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180 C, 160 C fan, Gas mark 4.

2. Melt together Flora Freedom and chocolate in a basin over a pan of simmering water.

3. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining ingredients.

4. Spoon into a greased and line 20cm square tin.

5. Bake in centre of preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the centre feels springy to the touch and the mixture is coming away slightly from the sides of the tin.

6. Leave to cool in the tin for about 15 minutes before cutting into 16 squares and transferring to a cooling rack
