A new film voiced by Sir Michael Gambon (Dumbledore in Harry Potter) has been released by tails.com to celebrate the unique personalities of dogs. It stars 20 dogs and follows research that proves our furry friends really do make us happier.

  7. There are huge physiological benefits to stroking and cuddling your dog, as it is proven to lower blood pressure and have a calming effect
  8. They always know when you're feeling sad and will aim to comfort you when you're down
  9. Dogs will always be man's best friend
  10. Dogs have unique personalities and characteristics that never fail to make you smile
