Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

The couple married in a romantic ceremony at the Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens, the place where the 2004 film The Notebook was filmed – what could be more romantic?

Today, Blake’s incredible engagement ring has stolen the headlines due to its sheer size and its rumoured cost of around £2m. It’s thought to be a 12 carat oval cut diamond and is incredibly beautiful. If you’re not able to stretch the budget to afford the same one as Blake then maybe you can settle for this Ivanka Trump Oval Stone Cocktail Ring. It will set you back a pretty penny but it’s definitely an eye-catcher!

Blake’s dress was created by one of her favourite designers Marcesa and is thought to have been a hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery. No pictures have been released of the star in her dressed so we can only guess at what it looked like. Although this Theia Embroidered Silk Organza Mermaid Gown is bound to be different from Blake’s, we liked the embellishments and embroidered front so treat yourself!

Blake has been seen wearing two rings, the massive engagement ring and then a very simple small one which is rumoured to be her wedding band. Keeping it simple was the right choice as it would have been hard to trump that engagement ring no matter how hard you tried! This ring from Monica Vinader is similar to Blake’s a great for anyone keeping simple.

The fun couple are rumoured to have had a carnival style reception, with old style popcorn machines to serve the guests with popcorn. It’s something fun and it’ll make your guests relax and have a great time at the reception so invest in this old school popcorn maker which makes warm popcorn ready to be served to your guests on arrival and throughout the night!

To accompany your popcorn maker, get your hands on these cool popcorn cups! Blake and Ryan are rumoured to have had their names put on all the popcorn cups that they served to their guests and nothing is stopping you doing the same, either get your arts and crafts gear out or find that crafty friend and ask them to do it as a wedding present for you.
