A few drinks is fine - Just don't have too much and end up naked on a train to calais.

It's considered unlucky for the Groom to set his eyes on the bride before the wedding, so even couples who live together may the night before their wedding in sepparate houses.

Your best man is responsibe for getting you to the wedding on time, so make sure he sorts out some reliable transport to get you to the church on time.

It's also customary for the Bride to keep the details of her wedding dress a secret from the groom. That's no so much luck as, she's supposed to get to the altar and make you go "wow".
