Celebrity weddings are always expensive and extravagant affairs, and the Wedding of NASCAR driver Kurt Busch to fiancée Eva Bryan is likely to rival the lot. Put out of your mind for a moment, the Designer dress, and the elegant 16 tier cake, and the Swarvoski crystals where everyone else might use glitter. Although Kurt and Evas wedding will no doubt be Beautiful, the extravagance, in this case, lies in the location.
They will marry on their Point Farm estate in Virginia. The Ceremony will take place on a pier overlooking the bay. A pier which doesnt exist at the moment, and wont exist once the wedding is over. The 175 foot long structure will be built especially for the wedding, at a cost of around $25000, and torn down weeks afterwards
They also plan to construct a 6,350-square-foot platform in sandy dunes at the southern tip of the spit, which will, according to plans, also be removed after the ceremony.
Both will be simply to accommodate the 300 guests who will be ferried over from the main pier on Point Farm to attend a private event.
One thing that has to be said for the plan is that its sure to be an unusual, and no doubt stunning location.
