Couples are more likely to leave one another after a holiday if things are rocky before leaving the airport runway, according to this new report.

In the hope that the weather, the lack ok work  and the time alone will help their situation, actually, it can be a hindrance and often leads to the hiring of lawyers on their return after arguing throughout their break.

It was found that a summer holiday is often thought to be a last resort when it comes to fixing broken marriages with 40% opting for this last attempt at patching things up.

Many couples thought it would be a good opportunity to reconnect, give them a chance to escape the mundane of day to day life and help them fall back in love but for the majority sadly, it just doesn’t cut the mustard.

The glimmer of hope is that 36% said the holiday did save their marriage and they rekindled what they had at the start of their relationship.
