Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter

Much to the displeasure of the Cumberbitches- Benedict got engaged on 5th November, to Sophie Hunter, an opera director after they met on the set of the film Burlesque Fairytales in 2009. The Forthcoming Marriages in The Times was where the news first appeared.

David Arquette and Christina McLarty

The pair had been dating on and off since 2011 and then discovered that they were expecting their first child together in November 2013. Charlie West was born on 28th April 2014 and then they subsequently announced their engagement in July 2014.

Courtney Cox and Johnny McDaid

Cox and McDaid began dating in late 2013 and the couple announced their engagement on 27th June, 2014, just one month before her ex-husband.

Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe
