3. Dan is the stepfather to Steenburgen's daughter Lilly and son Charles who are both children of Malcolm McDowall, Mary's Ex-husband. Steenburgen is the Stepmother of Kate and Alexis- Danson's children from his marriage to Casey Coates.
4. President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hilary Rodham Clinton were both at their wedding.
5. Steenburgen had known Clinton since she was governor of Arkansas when she lived in Little Rock.
6. The President celebrated his 51st birthday at the Martha's Vineyard home of the couple.
