Mitesh wanted to create a Friends themed proposal for his girlfriend Anisha who is somewhat of a fan.

That sofa had to feature somewhere!

That sofa had to feature somewhere!

The Proposers arranged for West End singers to play and sing the song as Mitesh was proposing to Anisha.

Mitesh wanted to take Anisha for dinner at The Shard after the proposal so he wanted to pop the question near there.

The famous sofa and lamp were also a must as these appear in the opening credits of the show.

The Proposers researched into surrounding locations and found Red Cross Garden- a park in the middle of Southwark. This turned out to be the perfect location as it overlooked The Shard.

On the big day The Proposers decorated the garden with fairy lights, lanterns and the iconic sofa and lamp.

The Proposers thought all their Christmases had come at once when they were able to combine a proposal with the famous theme song from Friends, originally performed by The Rembrandts.

The five singers were in hiding when Anisha and her groom to be arrived.

Anisha couldn't hold back the tears when she entered the garden and realised it was all for her.

Mitesh led her though the lights to the sofa and once they were comfortable- the singers began to perform the all too familiar song.

During the chorus Mitesh asked Anisha to be his wife.

Of course she said, 'Yes!' I think any Friends fan would have done the same.

Congratulations Anish and Mitesh!
