QVC has found that of those women who are thinking of popping the question this year- they have five potential scenarios in mind. We take a look at their options for if you are struggling to think of the best setting.
Weddings on Female First
Over a candlelit meal- Whether you do it in the privacy of your own home at your own dining room table or in a restaurant surrounded by onlookers- proposing by candlelight anywhere is the best kind of mood lighting there is. Plus, if you do it at the beginning of the meal, you both have time to digest what's happened and talk about your next move, without the input of friends and family.
On a country walk- There's a lot of opportunity to take good selfies while on a country walk and plus it has the added benefit of being more secluded if you pick the right spot so you might not see anyone else for miles. This gives you the chance to enjoy the alone time to talk about your engagement while getting some fresh air and exercise.
On a beach- Again your pictures will be beautiful but if you don't have the budget for a weekend abroad- this can act an alternative. If you pick a day with good weather it can be just as effective as proposing on holiday.
Taking your partner abroad- If you do want to and can afford splash the cash- going away might be the answer. What could be better than combining a holiday and a proposal?
Hot air balloon- You have the opportunity to join two once in a lifetime experiences together- so why not? Who else can say they were asked THE question when they were hundreds of feet in the air?
