Many brides and grooms opt for neutral tones; however Marie Anderson and Richard Philpotts decided to bring a touch of colour to their big day in June 2015 at Hylands House with their son William.

The couple were also caught on camera and will have a weekly slot in September on 'I Want That Wedding' on Channel 5.

Marie has been a bridesmaid 9 times so it was well and truly her turn to be the blushing bride; "I knew it would be Hylands."

Marie and Richard wanted their wedding day to be fun with a burst with colour and vibrancy. Their son was born prematurely and had a tough time at the start of his life, so the couple really had a lot to celebrate on their big day.

Many brides opt for one colour of bridesmaid dress- not Marie; she decided that each of her bridesmaids would have a different colour dress, which is in vogue right now.

The invitations had many different colours as did the cake- with each layer a new shade. Colourful balloons adorned the wedding breakfast tables too.

"I loved having reception drinks in the beautiful blue room. Our guests looked around the House while we were having photos taken and the weather enabled people to enjoy the terrace and take in the amazing views.

"The wedding breakfast and the disco took place in the Grand Pavilion. This meant that all my guests were in one place whether they were on the dance floor, at the bar or sitting down as opposed to a venue that has loads of different rooms where guests are scattered.

"The whole day was my favourite part! I'll always remember walking into the Pavilion just before we did the receiving line and being blown away by how wonderful it looked".
