The website ‘weddings in palm springs’ has information on hotels, historical locations, gay friendly resorts and many other hotspots that accentuate the chilled out atmosphere at Palm Springs.

The new website is invaluable to the budding spouses with party supplies, party planners, florists, wedding licence guides and will ensure nothing is left out if you want to get married at Palm Springs.  The site also has suggestions of where the best place is to soak up the sun and enjoy you first few weeks as a married couple on your honeymoon!

Palm Springs is now in its 75th year as an integrated city and is arguably the best place to be if you are a gay couple getting married. The city is notable for the place that holds the most LGBT resorts in the US. With 30 gay and lesbian friendly resorts and guest houses, often owned by and operated by gay couples. Many of the destinations have special packages catering for gay honeymooners  including ones for on-site ceremonies, hotels with full service, boutiques for those wanting a smaller service and vacation home rentals for larger get togethers.

Palm Springs is the ideal location for many gay and lesbian events that are held throughout the year, such as Dinah Shore Weekend, which is every April and is the biggest female party music festival in the world and the White Arty which is one of the biggest gay circuit events in the US. There is also the annual gay and lesbian film festival Cinema Diverse which reveals the best LGBT films in September and November sees the Palm Springs Pride Festival which attracts many people from all over the globe every year.

Just last month, many people attended the opening of the sculpture ‘Forever Marilyn’ to celebrate same ex laws being passed in America.
