A Younger Boy

Okay. Recently, I was on holiday, and there were some cute boys down by the pool. But I could only think of one boy I wanted to be with; my best friend, who I adore as more than a friend. There's just one problem. I'm 13 and in year 8 but he's 12 and in year 7. It doesn't bother me, but my friends will flip. They teased me for going out with someone shorter than me, let alone younger.
He's the nicest person I've ever met in my life and I know he feels the same way about me as I do about him, but my friends keep ruining things.
What do I do?
I know it's hard not to let your friends influence your decisions but you really should do what you want to do.
Just because this boy is the year below you he is ropably only a matter of months younger.
If your friends do tease you just tell them to look at Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, if a younger man is good enough for them why not for you!
You've said the age difference doesn't bother you so forget your friends and do what makes you happy.
I know it's hard but school friends always tease one another and they will get bored of it after a coupel of days. Just grit your teeth and bear it and by the weekend they will be talking about something else.
If they do tease you they are the ones acting young, not your boyfriend.
Remember though it is illegal to have sex unless you are over 16.
