Sadie try not to beat yourseal up about it. Although it is embarassing, it's not as though you can stop yourself from doing it. If you could, then you wouldn't! It must be so hard for you not to be able to do the things that every teenager does, but you are not alone. There are other sufferers of bed wetting at an older age, even if you may feel that you are the only one. If your best friend knows about it, then why not camp and have sleepovers with her, because if she is aware of your problem then you should feel comfortable around her. Try going back to your doctor and telling him/her your feelings.

I would advise you to go back to your GP and tell him that nothing he has given you has worked for you. Bed wetting can be caused by many things, and is a problem amoung 3% of 15 year olds. IF you have only recently started to wet the bed it could be due to exam stress, or emotional stress. HOwever, if it has been a long term problem, it could be down to a lower level of ADH in the blood, meaning that you produce more urine than some, certain foods eaten such as dairy products etc. Your GP will be able to advise and inform you on why.
