My husband proposed to me within 6 wks of meeting, we married on a carribean cruise had a reception for our family a month later. Then I find out just before our 1st anniversary he had been having an affair for about 8 months with someone that he had been in a relationship with before me.

He says all the usual things that he loves me -wants to be with me and eventually said he was sorry. I have tried to move on and let it go but it has been difficult especially as he doesnt want to have sex with me an when he does it is over with in less than 5 minutes.

When I think that he used to book a £250 a night hotel to have sex with his whore I get realy upset what is wrong with me? I have seen this woman and cannot see what he see's in her she is fatter and shorter than me and really common.

Forget about comparing yourself to this woman, it was probably not about her personally your husband could have just been going through a difficult time. Not that I am excusing him though.

He says he loves you and only you can say if you believe him and think he won't stray again.

If you think the relationship is worth salvaging you're going to have to do the hard thing and talk about your problems. Explain how he has made you feel and that he should be pulling out the stops now to make you feel special.

If he can't change than perhaps it is best for you to leave him and find someone you can trust.

Your husband has ruined any trust between you and is now making you feel miserable when he should be pulling out the stops to win you over.

Tell him things have to change he needs to prove that he is worth you giving him a second chance and prove he can be trusted. If he can't change his miserable ways walk away and find someone who will treat you how you deserve to be treated.
