My Older Women Feelings

Luciee asks:
I have had feelings for a woman 15 years older than me for about two years now. We are both straight. At least I think I am! I have never had feelings for another woman before or since this started and have been in a long term relationship with a man which I have recently ended.
I continue to find men attractive. Really I just need to make sense of these feelings. I think about her all the time and want to be with her all the time. I think I am in love with her. I love everything about her.
Worrying about this has caused me to question my sexuality but there is nothing sexual about my feelings at all. I could imagine kissing her but nothing more than that. It's doing my head in as I think about her constantly. She is a friend and a collegue and has no idea about my feelings for her. I can't tell anyone. I know nothing will ever happen as she is straight but I do get carried away and think maybe........... But realistically I know. I just need to get over her but can't. Please help! Any ideas?
This sort of thing is quite common so try not to worry.
Women have crushes on other women despite not been gay or having feeling for other women.
It could just be that you look up to and admire this woman or really want to be friends with her. You say you have no sexual feeling for her so you are not gay.
Decide what you want from, her be it friendship, a mentor or perhaps a mother figure and build your relationship that way.

You have no sexual feelings for this woman so you're not gay or bi.
Without trying to patronise you, you havejust come out of a long relationship and are probably feeling vulnerable and confused.
Yout friendship with this woman may just be filling a void left by your ex-boyfriend. Start going on dates and going out with your friends who don't know this woman. Once you have something else to distract you I'm sure you will realise your feeling were nothing more than an innocent crush.
