My Parent's friend

I've been seeing my mum and dad's friend for a few months, how can I tell my parents? there's quite a bit of an age difference between us.
Sit your mum and dad down and ask them if they have noticed how happy you have been recently, then tell them it is because you are in a new relationship with this man.
Explain that you understand they may not approve but you would really like them to be happy for you.
Try to be sensitive though and not to flaunt your relationship in front of them until they have accepted it.
Unfortunately there is a chance your parents might not be particularly happy about this news so break it to them gently then leave them alone to get used to the idea.
It may take time for them to accept this so just be patient, after all imagine if one of them told you that they were dating one of your friends.
If you are truly happy in this relationship then don't force anyone to split you up.
